New patient wing completed at Alton Memorial Hospital

Electrical contractor Guarantee Electrical Co., construction manager S.M. Wilson & Co. contractors and architect Pratt Design Studio recently completed the new four-story, 89,000-square-foot Duncan Patient Wing at Alton Memorial Hospital.
The $45 million project was commissioned by BJC HealthCare in Alton. The work was completed on time and under budget.
The new wing includes 76 private rooms, six observation beds, an inpatient pharmacy, therapy and lab space and a modern lobby with reception and registration areas.
